b. 68-72

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

In Atut (→FE), the minims in bars 68 and 72 are devoid of extending dots, which, in both cases, must be considered a mistake. Dots were added in GE and EE.

Minim d1 in Atut (literal reading→FEGE,EE)

Dotted minim d1 in Atut, contextual interpretation

..

In Atut, the rhythmic value of the d1 minim is unclear – there is no stem next to it, hence it seems to be a semibreve. It can be a mere deficiency, frequent in Chopin's autographs; however, it cannot be excluded that Chopin planned here a dotted minim, like it is in the orchestra (bassoon I) and in similar bars 122 and 682.

b. 133

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

The g-eminim is devoid of extending dots in Atut. This patent mistake – eis, after all, extended to the next bar – was corrected already in FE (→GE,EE).

b. 141

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

In FE (→EE1), the dots prolonging the E-B minim were overlooked. The patent mistake was corrected in GE and EE2 (→EE3).

b. 149

composition: Op. 11, Concerto in E minor, Mvt I

..

In FE (→GE1), the last 8 notes are written as 2 groups of semiquavers. The division into groups suggests that Chopin meant a strict and regular division, so the notes should be demisemiquavers. A respective change was introduced in EE and GE2 (→GE3). Additional beams were added also in FEJ, although it is impossible to confirm the authenticity of such a non-characteristic entry.
